About 'To Love and To Cherish' the cover, by artist Lawrence Roibal

The fabulous Pink Heart Society ran a piece recently titled 'The Creation of a Cover', in which our very own Trish Wylie interviewed illustrator and artist Lawrence (Larry) Roibal.

Larry Roibal has created over five hundred book cover artworks including works that have appeared on books by Trish Wylie, Ally Blake, Donna Alward, Natasha Oakley to name a few.

I think my favourite take-away from reading Larry's interview was his statement that you have to work hard if you want to stay in the game (paraphrased, but that's the gist of it). I feel vindicated for all my late nights working at the computer, and encouraged to keep going.

Larry Roibal created the artwork for my very own 'To Love and To Cherish' and for that, I thank him most sincerely. I think it beautifully captures the heart of the story and the relationship between Jack and Tiffany.
