Writer's Wrap Up - Starting a Story
I started writing a new story this week - greatest feeling in the world! Well, just about. And this time because I have the hero and heroine very clear in my head, I decided to do something out of the ordinary and dive straight into the story. I've done this before only to end up stalled after a chapter or a scene or perhaps a little more than that. But I've found with each experience of writing a book, my feelings about the process have changed, by knowledge base has changed and grown and I'm wondering if this time, with this particular set of characters, I may not actually do well working at the story this way.
I'm hoping to be working on another project as well. More about that later. So this story, with lots of ideas in my head but very little planned out of written down, may be something I can work on when I need a break from other commitments, too.
Or, I might simply stall at the end of chapter one and have to create an outline. Stay tuned to find out which ends up happening!
Happy weekend wherever you may be.
Hugs
Jennie
