The Draft is Done!

Yee haw! The draft of the current novel is written. I am so happy to be back into my writing properly! Now I get to do the polishing, which to be truthful, is often one of my favourite parts of the book creation process (despite the fact I sometimes whinge about the tedious micro-checking I do before it eventually goes in to my editor).

So if I disappear for yet another while, sorry about that. I'll be head down beavering away at the final touches of this book.

Also, for those wondering about the Australian conference in Melbourne, it was wonderful. Barbara Samuel was all I expected her to be, a wonderful motivational speaker. If you hear me talking about 'the girls in the basement' here and wonder what that's about, check out Barbara's website.
